Fourth in the Building Resilience Series 

The Learning Community series will continue to focus on Promoting Resilience using a Trauma-Informed Approach, highlighting evidence-based behavioral health programs.  Hear about successful approaches to support the behavioral health needs of children and families with a focus upon rural communities. 

We have a great line-up of speakers!

Two of the three speakers are remote, and both have programs in rural areas. Carly E. McCord, Ph. D., Director of Telebehavioral Health, Texas A&M Telehealth Counseling Clinic will share information on the Madison County Outreach and Services through Telehealth (MOST) Network.  Doty Shepard, Director, Resilient Colorado will describe a collective impact project in Durango County with a focus on suicide prevention.  Our on-site speaker, Kim Catanzano from Lincoln Services, will share information on a wraparound program that uses a team approach to serving youth.    

When:  Thursday, May 16, 2019

Time:    Registration and Networking from 9:00-9:30 a.m.  Program from 9:30 am – 12:30 p.m. 

Where: In-person at Amador County Child Abuse Prevention Center in Jackson, at remote sites in Markleeville, Bishop, and Loyalton, or individually from your personal computer!
