Thousands of schools are becoming trauma-informed. That’s a good thing. But how do we institutionalize these changes? How do we make sure this is truly a cross-sector endeavor, and create an education system that partners with parents, healthcare organizations, the justice system, businesses, and the faith-based community? And how do we make sure we are truly educating all children, even the kids that schools don’t want? Our three panelists have been working on answering these questions in their work, and, in the process, are laying foundations for models useful for everyone else.
