The voices and experiences of those most impacted by trauma are often silent. Too often we talk as though we are either service providers OR service recipients, trauma providers OR trauma survivors, parents OR professionals. What if we ALL owned ALL of our experiences and used them to inform OUR work instead? Meet three people who believe doing so is central to being trauma-informed agents of change, resiliency, and healing. They deliberately pull from lived and learned expertise to inform and transform people, programs, organizations and themselves. Want to learn how? Each will share the benefits, barriers, how to’s, and lessons learned from being power-with people at work. Note: There will be time to digest, write, and ask questions. All questions will be answered, if not in panel, than afterwards online on ACEsConnection.com.
