We are excited to announce that the South Region Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (GRG) Relative Caregiver Symposium will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 2019 from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM at Vista Square Elementary | 540 G St. Chula Vista, CA 91910. This free community event willprovide information and access to resources and services particularly relevant to grandparents and other relative caregivers raising young family members.
This year’s theme is “Fill Your Cup! A day of inspiration, reflection, connection, and opportunities.” The Symposium will focus on providing caregivers with resources, skills, and tools to help them better care for their families. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with other families and individuals with similar life experiences and learn more about local support groups. In addition, attendees may receive flu shots, dental varnish, and healthcare and food application assistance. See flyer attached for details.
PARTICIPATION DETAILS
· There is no charge for this event and it is open to the public
· Check-in and registration opens at 8:30 AM
· Lunch and childcare are provided with pre-registration
· Spanish interpretation available

Este evento comunitario gratuito proporcionará información y acceso a recursos y servicios particularmente relevantes para los abuelos y otros cuidadores familiares que crían a los miembros jóvenes de la familia.
