The Love Story of Albert and Margaret Robinson

Albert and Margaret Robinson Founded the Hotel Robinson, now called the Julian Gold Rush Hotel.

You are invited to be a witness to an amazing love story between two ex-enslaved African Americans, and equally amazing love story with a mountain town founded by two ex-confederate soldiers. The hotel is the oldest continuous operating hotel in Southern California and is now on the National Historical Registry.

The Julian Pioneer Museum is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the African Museum - Casa del Rey Moro by sponsoring a fundraiser for the Julian African American Pioneer Committee
