Intro to Trauma Informed Care

THE COWART TRAUMA INFORMED PARTNERSHIP PRESENTS:

TRAUMA INFORMED CARE

This introductory level course is essential for anyone who works with the public.  Trauma has been identified as an epidemic in our society.  Studies indicate that a significant portion of the population have experienced harmful or life-threatening events which have impacted their everyday functioning or well-being.  That is increasing daily as we all live through the current COVID-19 pandemic.

There is good news:  resilience--the ability to overcome serious hardship--can be grown over time.  Participants of this webinar will learn what trauma is, understand its possible effects, recognize the signs, and learn how to respond appropriately.  This course will help participants support healing and build relationships that will endure all life's challenges.
