Yes, we used ACEs Screener for Family Drug Treatment Systems work. I trained a large number of the FDTCs in what the ACE Screener is and why it is important for courts and court systems. It helped not only the court personnel, but the treatment programs, to understand the implications of early adversity in the parent's history leading to difficulties in parenting. Staff from all the participant agencies in the system ( helping network) state that it has been an important learning tool for them to understand the effects of trauma on both parents and their children.
