Good morning Debbie,

I can point you to a ton of on line free resources if you want to email me.

I attended a workshop a few years ago for first responders entitled

"emotional armor for first responders", it was for police and firefighters. It was a two day workshop.

I have been a FF/EMT and am also a NEAR/Trauma informed trainer, I am also a mental health and child mental health professional.

I think it might be useful to get clear about your objective......are you trying to educate FF about basic ACES? (30 minutes would be a brief intro), Dr. Felitta has a few good you tube presentations.

I would be glad to help you hone in and find what you need or help you create it.

Michael, great information! Please share here on ACEs Connection!

Your knowledge and experience is just what folks on ACEs Connection are seeking. Please know that this site is designed for "regular" folks and anyone else - to share their learnings! We hope that by sharing lessons learned (what works and what didn't work), golden nuggets, and more - together we can accelerate the ACEs science movement ... rippling across the nation and across many different sectors.

(*Sector: business sector, health care sector, education sector, government sector, religious sector, banking sector – and many other sectors. Each sector has its members, as well as those who are outside it but are influenced by it.)

I look forward to hearing more from you!
Karen
