I am not aware of another state besides DE approving a similar Executive Order. Other states—CA, OR, UT and WI—have approved resolutions and only UT required a Governor's signature...the rest just had legislative approval. I've asked the DE folks if they are aware of any EX Orders similar to their state's. CA. just established an office of state surgeon general and the Governor has named ACEs champion, Nadine Burke Harris, to the post. There are different approaches to try to embed ACEs science into state policy. AK started out with a resolution and ended up with statutory language that should have a greater impact. It would be great to hear from states about their experiences.
