Kevin, As a nurse/nurse practitioner and having been in the school system, I would highly recommend representation from National Association of School Nurses (NASN) and American School Health Association (ASHA). I do not see much of anything in the arena of PREVENTION efforts for child sexual exploitation/human trafficking. Seems we are all focused on recognition and care after the fact. There are several organizations doing incredible work in the area of teaching students about healthy relationships /human sexuality. After all, isn’t part of the ACEs research showing that all it takes is that one trusting person to make a difference in our students? Schools and the school nurse hears and sees many things.
