Thank you for highlighting this topic! Did you contact anyone at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) or the Yale Child Study Center? Or Charlotte-Mecklenburg? Below is a link to the toolkit we collaboratively developed for police when responding to children exposed to violence and childhood trauma. New Haven CT and Charlotte- Mecklenburg NC have a significant history in the area of Trauma Informed Policing, which started in the 90’s with the Child Development-Community Policing program.
