Rejection hurts so deeply because it is contrary to basic web reality and means death in evolutionary terms. Rejection is the real meaning of ACEs - rejection from the warmth dimension of human existence. There is no other way into the human warmth dimension except through the central nervous system (CNS) of another human being. When the CNS is animated by our presence, turned on by us, and deeply touched by what it sees, we are anchored deeply into the very soul of the Universe. Here is the thing though. When we find the CNS closed, when we find no one there to warmly welcome us, we literally go crazy at first. Here are my hopes for the New Normal in the United States and ACEs.
