Scott, the National Conference of State Legislatures-which fund their respective state 'Police Standards and Training Councils', may have something-although I can't be sure, as I haven't yet explored it.

Our local paper 'Valley News' reported (December 2, 2017] a new local [Elder Abuse pre- / inter- vention endeavor],that involves the Police Chief [Phillip Kasten] of Hartford, Vermont, and Abby Tassel-the trauma-informed resource person at our local Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Center ("WISE") [just across the 'river' in Lebanon, New Hampshire],.. as well as Windsor County [Vt.] Special Investigation Unit Director [Julie Gaudette], and a few other representatives from a few other local service agencies.

Our Manchester, New Hampshire Police Department is implementing/using a 'Trauma-Informed model'--which had a blog item already posted in ACEsConnection, which may elaborate on trauma-informed interview techniques they use..

The Boston, Cambridge, [and a few other Massachusetts 'North Shore' municipal] police departments have [trauma-informed] "Intentional Police Peer Support' programs-which were [and may still be]-affiliated with the [previously nation-wide, now serving internationally] "On-Site Academy"-which provided both Crisis/Respite and Critical Incident debriefing counseling services to "First Responders" and "Human Services Personnel". On-Site Academy's 'trauma-informed/EMDR Therapy director' previously worked for the Washington State Patrol...

Scott,

I am a retired Special Agent and now am a trainer and consultant around child maltreatment issues. I am also a trainer for the Child Welfare Trauma Toolkit. I have a training on conducting Trauma-Informed Child Maltreatment Investigations, which includes trauma-informed interviews of both children and adults. I can be reached at donnampence@gmail.com.
