Dear fellow ACE colleagues,

I am working with a student on her MPH Capstone project.  We are starting a Delphi process to develop a tool that will help measure pediatric hospital’s readiness to assess and respond to IPV/family violence.  We are basing the tool on one that is currently used in the adult hospital setting, but we are modifying it for the specific needs of pediatrics.

We are looking for experts whose work focuses on the impact of IPV/family violence in the pediatric setting to participate in the Delphi process.  Expert participants will offer their input regarding items that should be included on the new measurement tool, and will work with their colleagues in an online process to achieve consensus.

Because of the overlap between ACEs and IPV, I am hoping that some of you may be working in this area or can recommend colleagues doing this work.  There is no compensation for participating beyond contributing to knowledge.  This has the potential to be an impactful project which could impact hospitals and outpatient clinics alike, and we would love to have representation from a variety of disciplines and geographic regions.  Please private message to let me know if you qualify and are interested or have a recommendation for someone who is a good match.  Thanks!
