I am the Assistant Director of the Center on Trauma and Adversity at CWRU.  I am seeking 2 presenters as part of our day long Expanding the Toolkit training institute in Cleveland on October 5.  The theme this year is Caring for Self While Caring for Others.  We are in talks to bring in Laura van Dernoot Lipsky as the keynote.  The event will be Livestreamed to reach a broader audience.

I am interested in featuring folks who are addressing STS/VT on a broader level-- what models or projects are you aware of?  What's being done in your community? Diversity (race, ethnicity, ability, gender, sexuality, etc) of presenters is prioritized.  We do have a small budget to cover travel/expenses/honorarium.  Please feel free to comment here, or e-mail me with suggestions or connections.  As always, I am grateful for your labor!

Jenny

Happy to talk, apply and even supply a number of our latest versions of Resources for Resilience, now in use in W Africandiaspora of refugee camps and trauma relief trainings, as well as in N CA wildfire devestation, Las Vegas community mass post-shooting and Florida school post- shooting recovery, for communities, first-responders, caregivers and those impacted as well. Let me know - thrilled to see this moving forward! Jondi

Hi Jennifer,  I'd be happy to speak with you about our work in Philadelphia and how the Philadelphia ACE Task Force has been working on promoting STS policies starting with City workers - we have been engaged in a year long process with our City Council to promote attention to preventing and mitigating the impact of STS. Please feel free to e-mail me at llieberman@healthfederation.org.
