I created a very simple "Stoplight" that breaks down stress. Green for positive (like getting a vaccine or a school assignment), Yellow for tolerable (life events like the death of a loved one or move that are supported by family), Red for toxic stress (prolonged exposure). Ours was for pediatrics to be used to help explain toxic stress and the ACE screening tool to parents, but I bet you could change the examples for high school students or provide ways to support each other on the handout as well. Hope this helps!
