This client has an ACES score of 10/10.  She is remarkably stable, works, goes to school, but dissociates with certain triggers. She is 25 and already showing signs of illness. After multiple doctors could find nothing wrong, she contacted me for a medical intuitive scan. She said it is 100% accurate, see attached, shared with permission. That document, paired with her trauma timeline, (to be sent to therapist referral) provides an accurate treatment blueprint.  A good match is a female therapist who is open to holistic treatment methods. She does not want EMDR (retraumatizing) or CBT. She needs treatment in person due to the dissociation. The numbers in the scan correlate to the energy system of the body/mind, aka the chakra system. The root chakra, #1 is the base of the emotional pyramid, not unlike the ACES pyramid or Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. #1 is about survival, attachment, abandonment, primal needs of protection, food, safety, etc.

Sue, Thank you for advocating for your patient.  When I first learned of EMDR it was something I strongly avoided. Over time, out of desperation, I tried it. And for me, just one session was life-changing. My physiological and emotional response to the trigger diminished considerably. Looking into this treatment approach, I learned that the World Health Organization (WHO) and others endorse EMDR for those living with traumatic memories. If anyone is interested in learning a bit more about this treatment, please check out APA EMDR and VA EMDR. For folks who might want to read an article, click here. Thank you again for being a strong patient advocate! Karen
