Resilience Through Diversity: The Power of Trauma-Informed DEI Practices

The Community Resilience Initiative is pleased to announce the 2020 Beyond Paper Tigers Fifth Annual Conference at the Centennial Hotel in Spokane, WA.

Conference Dates: June 24-25, 2020 (opening social/network on June 23, 2020). Plans underway to offer pre-conference trainings of Courses 1, 2, and 3 on June 22-23, 2020.

Melissa, do you know what the registration cost will be for the conference?  (even approximately)

I'm not too sure; last year they had the pricing announced I believe around December and there was early-bird pricing until Feb/March-ish. They also offered their Trauma-Informed training the day prior which changed the cost if you chose to attend. I'd definitely suggest signing up for their newsletters! I have been receiving the updates via email

As far as I know, there's no national conference in the works for 2020, however there are state conferences that are often broad enough to make them useful for people who don't live in those states, and we post them in the calendar section.

There are also regional conferences.

If people are interested, we can post a list of state ACEs/TI conferences in the State ACEs Action community. What do you think?

I think that would be very helpful to have them compiled in one place!

DEI is diversity, equity and inclusion. It is among to the tools we’ve created to help communities ensure “everyone is at the table.”

To download it, go to the “Growing Resilient Communities” widget on the right side of the ACEs Connection home page  Click on “Starting a community” and see the resources at the bottom of the post.

Thanks!
