Congratulations on a well-deserved award, Jane!

This is from the Institute for Safe Families in Philadephia, which just held its annual ACEs Summit:

"Over lunch, Joe Pyle, MA, President of the Thomas Scattergood Foundation presented Jane Stevens Founder and Editor of ACEs Connection, with the first-ever Scattergood Award for ACEs Journalism. Ms. Stevens, who founded ACEs Connection in 2012, presented to attendees after accepting her award on the importance of reporting and ethical leadership in the media on complex health and community issues such as ACEs."   Great job!   Kathy

Jane, you deserve to be recognized for the incredible work and impact you bring to all of us who are honored to be a part of acestoohigh. I have been impacted by your encouragement, your support, and by the wonderful people you have brought together on this site. You are the stone that is tossed into the pond that reaches far out to so many people. Thank you for sharing a deeper understanding of ACE's so that I can be more effective in my work and outreach to those who carry the wounds of trauma. Your mentoring has helped many of us through our journey to develop caring relationships that can lead to sharing hope and resilience so the wounded find healing, hope, and discover the beatuiful people they are meant to be. Very proud of you! Jim

Thank you, Jim. You're very kind. It's important that people know about the good work you and others do -- gotta spread that knowledge around so that more people can live happier lives!

Kathy! Thanks for posting this! When Martha Davis, the director of ISF, which hosted the summit, told me they wanted to give me an award, I was speechless, but filled with gratitude. There's nothing better than your peeps telling you that you're doing a good job.
