Hi, Everyone:

What healing-centered, trauma-informed actions are you using in your communities and organizations to respond to needs related to the COVID-19 pandemic?

We want to write about what you're doing so that other people in our community can use your great ideas.

Please email me: ludesky@acesconnection.com or add a comment here by end of Thursday, March 19.

Thank you!

Hi Laurie, As a school nurse in an urban, underserved school district, I am very concerned about my students, staff, and parents. It has been a very difficult and scary time with so many unknowns. The disruption of all of our schedules, school routines and certainly work routines is challenging and distressing. Some of the things we are doing in our school district include serving grab and go breakfasts and lunches for students at multiple school buildings across the district.

I am a preschool nurse, one of my schools set up a closed FB group for parents to connect with teachers and school staff. We are doing FB live chats and are going to have a virtual Community Cafe to stay connected, a virtual space to check in and see how our parents are doing.

Robin, you're such a great ACEs champion and leader! I appreciate your comments and will include a link to your blog post in my blurb that I'm writing up.
