Hi everyone,

Resilient Sacramento is considering ways to grow our work and one thing that's come up is, connecting with an umbrella organization.

Does anyone have any experience or tips to share, things to look out for, pros and cons?

We are at the very beginning stages of just talking about it, so anything anyone can share would really help our conversation along.

Thanks in advance for your wisdom!

Hi Donielle,

Our Children's Resilience Initiative here in Walla Walla, WA has a non-profit to manage our funding, but Teri Barila is our champion leading the movement in our community.  She may be able to help provide some meaningful feedback to support your journey.  Teri is nationally recognized for the community implementation of trauma-informed practices with our community partners and school system. Wishing you the best in this exciting movement!  Jim
