A few years ago I created a holistic health program that I have taught as early as PK all the way to grade 12. It's called Healthy and Happy Kids, aka Health Ninjas. Since learning about ACEs I am researching other topics to address this. So far, there's not much to add. I'm happy to share this curriculum that has a health coaching perspective.

It's possible for a person to get certified as a Trauma Coach. There's one in my area who sees adult patients with a history of ACEs. Trauma Coaches aren't trained in psychotherapy, but are adept at recognizing and addressing, maladaptive coping mechanisms. I don't know if this goes for all TCs, but our local one is very knowledgeable of the many different treatment modalities (EMDR, neurofeedback, emotional freedom techniques, Heart Math, etc), so she can guide patients towards these, if she feels they might be helpful.

Hi Susan, my name is Leslie Peters RN.  I have created a Heath care coaching model specifically written for what you’re looking for.

I spent 30 years as a maternal/newborn nurse for women with a history of childhood adversity; the latter half of my career I spent in the community working with at risk, low income pregnant patients.

it was my work here that drove me to create the H.E.A.R.T. Model; a multi phase personal development program intended to teach women how to have a healthy relationship with themselves. I used several phases of this program with my clients. Outcomes and compliance improved. More importantly, women became self aware and started to make changes in their lives.

I’m looking to collaborate with an organization to pilot this program. I would be happy to hop on a call this week. My number is 610-506-8298.

Thanks!

With love, gratitude and heart💕

Leslie
