This is Connie with SEASCAT.org.  I've been looking for housing that someone like myself could live in.  I've been "asked to leave' every complex I've tried to live in for elderly & disabled because of my C-PTSD. I just can't deal with property managers who scream at me and threaten eviction because I accidentally put a potted plant in the wrong place.  I'm elderly, with a high ACE score and lots of health issues.  I've spent a LOT of time homeless.  Right now live on top of a mountain, isolated, sometimes snowed in.  Phones don't work up here and I may not be able to get help if I needed it.  I pay well over half my income in rent.  I'm out of propane at the moment and it's very cold.  I can't stop shivering at the moment and won't until I get under my electric blanket.  But being extremely ADHD I can't be still under a blanket for long.

SEASCAT has applied as an organizational member of NCH looking to advocate for trauma survivors.   I went so far as to address Julian Castro former HUD Secretary for help when he was running for president.  He had made progress on creating some housing for Veterans with PTSD and was aware of the problem for people like myself.  I wonder if anyone else has answers?  My email is SEASCAT@gmail.com.
