I am a therapist in Lake County, Indiana.  I am very interested in communicating with folks in Northwest Indiana in particular and statewide in general.  I would like to know of any communities in our state that have successfully put in place trauma-informed schools, Judiciary, DCS, and mental health services.  I would love to dialog about what has been put into place in any of those areas or perhaps some community is working toward a cross systems approach.  Would love to work on putting together a conference/summit/symposium in our area. Most anxious to connect.

Elaine,

My business partner, Shenandoah Chefalo and I have done training for The Villages in Northeast Indiana. We have several different training formats, but the most popular is the 1-Day Workshop. In our trainings we translate evidenced-based research on trauma into skills which participants can use immediately. The training day is focused on small group activities, role plays, videos, self-reflective activities, Powerpoint, and discussion.

I also teach as an adjunct faculty member for Harrison College based in Indianapolis. We are conducting a Webinar for online faculty at the end of the month. I would be happy to talk with you more about your thoughts and needs.
