We are hiring a full-time outreach and distribution coordinator for WRESTLING GHOSTS, a intimate and transformative documentary about childhood trauma.
This is a great opportunity for a highly self-directed young person who would enjoy a position that requires a lot of different skills and a diversity of tasks. Responsibilities include:
- Organize screenings: book screening space, identify partners, and promote.
- Community Outreach: cultivate partners, identify and develop relationship with collaborators and "influencers".
- Social Media outreach: develop social media "voice" and maintain presence.
- Content management: identify content contributor and write original content, and Website maintenance.
- Oversee budget: keep track of all expenses and pay invoices.
This position requires a self-driven, hard-working, highly detailed and competent person. Applicants should be great communicator (both by writing and in person/phone) and have passion for helping others. Tech and social media savy is also a major plus!
The position is 3-6 months initially with the potential for a longer commitment. $20/hour and negotiable.
WRESTLING GHOSTS is a full-length feature film that follows the epic inner journey of a young mother who, over two heart-breaking and inspiring years, battles the traumas from her past in order to create a new future for herself and her family. WRESTLING GHOSTS addresses childhood trauma, its generational transmission, and the possibility of healing and breaking the cycle. In preparation, we are developing a web platform to allow viewers to learn more about childhood trauma and start their own healing journey.
