Hi. I recently learned that our local (probably statewide) jury instructions tell jurors that they can or should consider any time delays in reporting from the victim. So if a sexual assault victim does not immediately report to law enforcement, the jury can/should consider this (I think as a credibility issue) as they determine the outcome.  This is problematic when we think about how trauma impacts victims and the decisions they make and actions they take. Is this happening everywhere? Has anyone successfully changed this to help their Courts be more trauma informed? Thanks. angela
