We are working as a statewide medical association to highlight ACEs for our physician members in Texas. We are interested in highlighting some of the activities or resources that are specific to physicians or clinical settings.

In addition, we are looking for any suggested physicians leaders on this topic in Texas? Or any suggested Texas examples to highlight where ACEs have been implemented in a clinical setting?

THANKS!

Emily, I am a new pediatric resident and am planning to design Cap4Kids.org specifically for the San Antonio Area. This is in the beginning stages, but my colleague and I plan to teach ACEs and Trauma informed care as the reason why Cap4kids.org is vital for all providers, once the San Antonio site is up and running.

Hi, Joshua: You might find something useful in this link to handouts that ACEs Connection members are using:

And, Emily, you may want to contact Beth Gerlach, Associate Director
of the Child and Family Research Institute  at The University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work. She's a member of this network, and her email is beth_gerlach@utexas.edu

Joshua, I would love to know more about how you are teaching ACEs and trauma-informed care and using Cap4kids. org.  Thanks.
