I work for a small college in which we survey all counseling clients for ACEs. I am interested in findings from other comparable programs or studies. Any insight would be very helpful.
I do not know of any other programs doing so. Anecdotally, as a Master's student, I'd say 50-75% of my peers exhibited signs of having some significant (4+) ACE scores. Also working in the field (alternative schools, residential programs) I'd say the incidence of significant scores were even higher.
While I don't have any data to report, I am working on implementing the ACEs assessment into my early intervention substance abuse program on a small college campus. We are working on submitting a proposal through IRB so we can include in our data collection but for now, I am just using it for my own knowledge.
I am working at a 18000 student school and we use the ACEs screening to collect data and inform programming we offer. What were you hoping to find from other campuses?
