 Hi All,

I'm hoping you can point me in the right direction. Are there questions to be asked of parents that would determine the ACE score of their children? I thought I had seem a list at some point, but cannot put my hands on it now. I'm imagining the questions would only be slightly different from the standard ACE questionnaire and simply frame for children. For example, "has anyone in your child's home been incarcerated?"

Thank you,

Lee

Hello Lee,

In the Child Trends Research Brief July 2014's Adverse Childhood Experiences: National and State-Level Prevalence you can find 8 ACE statements provided to parents and caregivers across the US to determine ACE scores in all 50 states.

I have used this for parents involved in DHS to better understand the trauma that their children went through prior to and including DHS involvement.
