I’d like to ask anyone part of a larger community trauma consortium:

-what initiatives have you instituted to address racial injustices and trauma in your local systems: schools, criminal justice, healthcare, etc?

-how has your trauma informed consortium worked to raise awareness about the issues of systemic racism as a form of trauma/ACES?

I'm not part of a consortium of that nature, but since there aren't replies yet I will just share what I'm familiar with

Schools: our district has an Equity Team and some buildings have building teams. The district team is using a book study on Glenn Singleton's Courageous Conversations about Race, has developed an Equity Framework to use in reviewing and creating policy, practice, etc. and has been providing ongoing training to the district admin team. We have also used Okun's white supremacy culture doc as a framework for how that shows up in our work https://www.dismantlingracism....hite_sup_culture.pdf

And we have used Kirwan Institute's Implicit Bias modules to train paraeducators. This is what first comes to mind.
