Hello,

I am conducting research on ACE for my Ph.D. dissertation in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am seeking participants that have experienced at least one ACE who are willing to be interviewed  about their experience. I am interested in how individuals adapted to their experience. Please PM me if you are interested. I have attached more details about the specifics of it along with the consent forms.

Thanks,

Jeff, I regret that I just turned 66 years old, and would be ineligible to participate in your research of English speaking Adults between 18 and 65, in North America.

However, I am curious if you're using the original ACE screening tool, the World Health Organization's ACE International Questionaire, and/or the supplemental questions proposed by Pediatrician Nadine Burke Harris.

I wish you the best in your doctoral endeavor.

Hello Robert,

I would love to have included you. The reason for the 65 cutoff is that over 65 is considered elderly and that it increases the risk of the study. It is just a lot of red tape.

I am not using Nadine Burke Harris's Questionaire. I have created my own questionnaire. I am more interested in resilience rather than trauma.  Would love to connect further with you are you on Facebook?
