HI Vicky- Can you say more about what you are interested in regarding BRFSS?  BRFSS is conducted by CDC for states and an ACE Module is added for states that request (and pay) for it.  Here is a link to the CDC website about BRFSS ACE Module.

Do let me know if I misunderstood your question; i am happy to try and answer!

And agree - sure hope Irma stays out to sea and leaves all land alone!

If you go to the link above and scroll down to the Module you will find this link to the PDF form - https://www.cdc.gov/violencepr...S_Adverse_Module.pdf -

At the bottom of the document it identifies the coding scheme. The State of Florida has used the data from the ACES module in a variety of ways, see the attached document (childhood experiences jan 2017).

Even more importantly the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System's data, enabled a community group in Jacksonville FL to tell the story of LGBTQI2-S youth in Duval County which lead to a community training and organizing event, http://www.eqfl.org/event/JaxYouth , resulting in the process of integrating the needs of LGBTQI2-S youth into the community's evolving Youth System of Care initiative.

Enjoy!
