COPE24 is a child advocacy non-profit that promotes the need to make parenting and child development education a priority in all high schools reaching all students. We produce curriculum and videos that teachers can utilize as supplemental material to text books. This year COPE24 will be working on a reality-based documentary project that will subject ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences). This project will include professional talent role-play, personal testimonies and professional commentary. COPE24 is currently looking to interview adults who may have experienced family dysfunction in their childhood. This dysfunction would include any combination of the following adversities:1. Child abuse: Physical, Emotional or Sexual2. Child neglect: Physical, Emotional (ex. lack of food, lack of educational support, lack of medical care, verbal, etc)3. Family dysfunction: Growing up in home where your parents suffered with mental health issues, drug or alcohol addictions, domestic violence, divorce or a parent was absent due to incarcerationIf you would like to know more about this project please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please briefly share a piece of your story. Sending an email doesn't commit you to participating in the video project, it is just exploratory. If you would like to visit our website at http://www.cope24.com you can view trailers of our past video projects. Thank you.
