Good Morning!

I have conducted over 150 workshops, trainings in the past couple of years both IN PERSON and VIRTUALLY.

Here is the bio:

Dr. Gregory Williams is on the Senior Leadership Team at Baylor College of Medicine’s OB/GYN Department located in Texas Children’s Hospital in the heart of the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He has a PhD in Counseling and is a well-known speaker/teacher.

He is the author of “Shattered by the Darkness: Putting the Pieces Back Together After Child Abuse” that has been published by HCI publishing (the same publishers of the International Bestseller “A Child Called IT” and the “Chicken Soup for the Souls” series. He has two new books that will released in Spring 2021, “Overcoming the Darkness: The Road Map to Hope” (which will also have a companion journal released with it) and “When the Dark Clouds Come”, which is a youth version on the book to help teenagers deal with stressful moments in their lives.

He travels the country speaking to thousands of people on child abuse, the aftermaths of abuse, the detection and recognition of abuse and the importance of the Adverse Childhood Experiences. He is on the Advisory Board of the Institute of Trauma-Informed Practices of the Columbia College in Columbia, South Carolina. He is the head of the Baylor College of Medicine’s pilot program in conjunction with Emory College and the University of San Diego Medical School in developing curriculum for medical schools to incorporate ACEs training at the residency/fellowship levels.

He has a LIVE radio program each Sunday evening called, “Breaking the Silence with Dr. Gregory Williams” that is heard by over 1.6 million listeners each week. The radio show then goes to over 115 podcasts networks around the world.

Also, I hope that you are addressing corporal punishment in schools in this conference. Talk about a safety issue. Over 100,000 children a year are hit and hundreds of thousands of children witness and are aware of it and are enduring these toxic environments.

Tate Aldrich is another important person. He won teacher of the year a few years back and is leading the cause in Arkansas to end paddling in school.
